workers comp reform, new job creation and the reduction in the state’s deficit. It may seem an early an ad buy for a November race, but campaign Chief Strategist Matthew Dowd says they’re laying groundwork:
“We’re not necessarily going to confront and ask a voter to decide to vote today or tomorrow – but it builds a case about why voters should re-elect the governor”
The two major Democratic candidates – State Treasurer Phil Angelides, and State controller Steve Westly, have been running ads for weeks.
