The Capital Village Town Center would serve the 30,000 workers in nearby office parks and future residents in thousands of new homes slated for that area. Beazer Homes begins construction in April on about 800 houses…adding to 3,200 houses by Elliott Homes in that project. The retail town center would have 30 tenants, including a Lowe’s store. It would be the 5^th Lowe’s in the Sacramento region. The town center project should go to the planning commission this spring.
