Sacramento County was one of seven Northern California counties listed in the governor’s state of emergency declaration.

County Board of Supervisors chair Roger Dickinson says the weekend storms caused widespread incidental damage to the region.

"We’ve had probably about 70-75 structures that have been flooded to some degree, a lot of wind damage, trees falling, signs blown over, things of that kind around the county."

Dickinson says it’s still too early to calculate the total cost of destruction.

"I think we won’t see an assessment for the next several days until we see these storm systems clear out."

But initial estimates put the damage throughout Northern California at more than $100 Million.
