Roger Valine has been the CEO of Vision Service Plan for more than a decade. He’ll step down in the middle of next year. Rob Lynch, a current member on the board of directors, will take over. Lynch is a consultant with personnel and benefits expertise.

Fifty-year-old Vision Service Plan in Rancho Cordova has grown to be the 4th largest company in the Sacramento region … with revenues of $2 billion. It’s the nation’s leader in its field.

One in eight Americans now has VSP’s vision coverage, providing eye examinations, eye surgery and other services.
