Brian McCurdy, who took the post six years ago when the performing arts center was under construction, is leaving to become director of the new Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto.
McCurdy says he’s excited to move on. "I thought it was a great opportunity to open another arts center while opening a building is still really fresh in my mind having done the Mondavi Center."
The new Gallo Center for the Arts is a $60 Million project still under construction that will include two theaters and an art gallery. McCurdy will start his new job next month.
