The largest developer of shopping centers in the Sacramento region, Donahue Schriber, is tying up both sides of the Interstate 80 interchange at Sierra College Boulevard.

It’s the only undeveloped interchange in south Placer County, so it’s a choice location for shopping … but there will be plenty of retail competition throughout Roseville and Rocklin.

Having centers on both sides of the freeway will strengthen their hand in tenant search and negotiations. The first center, Rocklin Crossings, could open between 2007 and 2009.

Donahue Schriber already operates 19 shopping centers in Greater Sacramento.
