Two of the Pearcy's displays involved the uniforms of U-S soldiers that had been hung on the front of thier home along with messages like “Bush Lied, I died.” Both displays were torn down by protestors -- but the controversy raised First Amendment questions and rallies for and against the Pearcy's anti-war statements were held outside the couple's Land Park home.
