Despite the loss in the second round, Pacific's play-by-play announcer Mike Millerick says this season was one of the most successful in the school's history. "A school record for wins. A school record for conference wins. A 22-game winning streak. There are just so many things you could point to. It's just been a wonderful year, and unfortunately it came to an untimely end."

Tiger fans were hopeful of an upset after Washington had a lackluster game against Montana in the opening round. However, basketball analysts noted the Huskies demonstrated in their play against Pacific, why they're among the four, number one seeds in the tournament.
