In the Sacramento area, Wet Seal operates stores in Downtown Plaza, Arden Fair, Sunrise Mall and at the Roseville Galleria. The company has yet to reveal which if any of these locations will be shut down as part of the nationwide restructuring. Wet Seal will also shed about 2,000 jobs. The California-based company carries contemporary apparel and accessories. Losses exceeded $100 million during the company’s fiscal second quarter, far worse than the prior year. Top executives have been replaced. Wet Seal says any store closures will be complete by February fifth, after liquidation sales.
