Meeting in the ornate Assembly chamber, Electoral College members quickly marked their paper ballots and Chairwoman Barbara Kerr announced the vote. CUT: BarbarKerr07 :07 (applause fade) With nothing left to do, the California electors adjourned, but member Chuck Lowery symbolically voted NO on the motion. CUT: ChuckLowery13 :13 Lowery said Ohio’s vote in particular was suspect. He’s urging U S Senator Barbara Boxer to object when the national vote is tallied in Washington next month. The ballots for Kerry for President and John Edwards for Vice President will now be transported to the U S Capitol, where votes from all fifty states and the District of Columbia will be counted on January sixth.
