Governor Proposal for Solar-Powered Homes Over Next 13 Years
The Schwarzenegger Administration Monday is scheduled to unveil a plan to build a Million solar-powered homes over the next 13-years.

Clean air advocates like Bernadette Del Chiaro (key-ARR-oh) of Environment California says they’re eager to see the proposal. The governor himself has made it pretty clear that he is committed to truly bringing solar power to California so we’re waiting with baited breath to see how ambitious he’s going to be and how far he’s going to take this goal of his. State lawmakers rejected an earlier plan by the governor because it allowed for an electricity rate increase. But administration officials say it would have let solar-powered homes sell their extra electricity back to utilities creating a net savings. Steve Milne - KXJZ news.
