CalTrans has conducted surveys by telephone since the mid-1990’s but this time they’re using the internet to get motorists’ feedback on roadway maintenance. Cal-Trans Public Information Officer David Anderson says the responses will help transportation officials set priorities. Cut:DavidA1 (:10) “There are questions about whether we should devote more time and resources to cleaning up graffiti, would you like us to devote more time to fixing potholes?” There are 35-questions in the survey and respondents are given the chance to give their zip codes and what highway they travel most. The online survey runs through January 5th, and can be found at the state Department of Transportation website. It’s www-dot-D-O-T-dot-c-a-dot-gov. SOC
