Sacramento County to Get Extra Flu Vaccine Doses
The state is releasing more flu vaccine doses and that’s prompted Sacramento County health officials to schedule more flu shot clinics.

County Health Officer Doctor Glennah Trochet says they’re making plans now. Given that we had to cancel all our low-cost clinics for people that don’t have insurance, we feel that at this point we will be able to have at least two clinics. We are still determining the date, time and place for them but they will probably be towards the end of this month. of the nationwide shortage of flu vaccine this season, flu shots are intended for high risk patients that don’t have insurance, including pregnant women, the elderly and children. Sacramento County will get 66-hundred doses. Placer County will get 25-hundred doses and both El Dorado and Yolo counties will get 900 each. Steve Milne - KXJZ news.
