Non-farm payroll employment was up by 43 thousand five hundred last month, the strongest job growth in four years. The state’s chief economist Howard Roth said the so-called “jobless recovery” may finally need to be re-named. CUT: Roth16 :16 The state’s unemployment rate dropped three tenths of a per cent from September to five point seven per cent of the state workforce. That’s the lowest jobless rate since September 2001.
