The university has already set its sights on a satellite campus in the planned Placer Ranch development. Now school officials confirm that they are talking about possibly using a second site in the region: an office building formerly a part of Hewlett Packard's Roseville campus. Hewlett Packard sold two hundred seventy six acres and the three story building to developer John Mourier last month. Much of the property is expected to be developed into homes and some commercial projects mixed in. But Mourier would gain leverage to win the city of Roseville's approval of the housing, if he brings in a university, sources say. There's room for one thousand homes on the site. For the Business Journal, this is Mark Larson
