Republicans Asking Shelly to Resign
A conservative Republican group has launched an on-line petition drive urging Secretary of State Kevin Shelley to resign.

Mike Spence, head of the ten thousand member California Republican Assembly says Democrat Shelley must go before he’s allowed to oversee the November election. CUT: Mulholland11 :11 In recent weeks, Shelley has been accused of arranging state grants for a San Francisco community group whose recipients then made large contributions to Shelley’s political campaign. A spokesman for the Secretary of State said Shelley would not comment on the call for his resignation. SOC
