Carl Watanabe

Station Manager

Station Manager Carl Watanabe has been Capital Public Radio's programming manager since 1998.  He has had previous stints as Program Manager at WGBH-FM, Boston, as Music Director/Operations for WEVO-FM, New Hampshire Public Radio in Concord, NH, and WNEC-FM, Henniker NH, a station licensed to New England College.

Watanabe also worked as talent and host on New Hampshire Public Television.  His background includes producing and directing public affairs and sports programming for Continental Cablevision, in Concord, NH.  Watanabe has also produced eight New Hampshire Folk Festivals, and four jazz festivals for New Hampshire Public Radio.
