Fargo: "My Vision for the City is Coming to Fruition"

She was first elected to the city council in 1989, and won her first election for Mayor of Sacramento in 2000.  Now, 55-year-old Heather Fargo is running for a third four-year term.  At first, it looked like Fargo would coast to re-election without a serious challenger – until former NBA star and Oak Park developer Kevin Johnson stepped in.  Now, Fargo faces her toughest campaign in years – and the city faces problems from flood control to a massive budget shortfall.  Fargo sat down with KXJZ’s Ben Adler yesterday to talk about her city and her campaign.
