Once in a while a Maserati passes on the streets of Sacramento, but it wasn’t purchased here. The nearest dealer is in Marin County. But The Niello company says it expects to sign an agreement with the Fiat Group, which owns Maserati, very shortly … with the first cars arriving on the sales floor next month. They’ll be sold from the long-standing Jaguar dealership on Fulton Avenue, which Niello just purchased from its former owner, George Grinzewitsch. President Rick Niello says he expects to sell about 100 new Maseratis annually. Total U.S. sales were about 2,200 vehicles last year.
