West Sacramento Proposed Property Assessments Now On Web
West Sacramento residents can now get detailed information on the Internet about the city’s plans for improvements to its levee system.

Residents can also find out how much those planned improvements will cost them each year in proposed property assessment fees.

So those folks who want to find out what their preliminary assessment is, can look it up on-line.
Under state law, the city must make the information public, so it can put the property assessment up for a vote in May.
The proposed assessment would raise about 42 million dollars total for levee improvements, bringing West Sacramento’s levees up to 200 year flood protection requirements.
