Supervisor Roger Dickinson says the county is offering some quote “new ideas” to Joe and Gavin Maloof, in hopes they will finally sign an agreement:
 
Essentially what we’ve been doing is working on a site plan that incorporates a lot of the things they’ve been concerned about.  Also a memorandum of understanding, so that we move to the stage among the parties about exactly what this deal is.
 
The Maloofs backed out of the arena deal when disagreements arose over the location and size of the facility and the number of parking spaces available.
A spokeswoman for the Maloofs says they’re expecting to see something from the county later this week.
