The strike by Sacramento County workers includes waste management employees. Megan McPherson with the county says trash collection is still going on – just at a slower pace.

"They should still take their trash to the curb but it might not be at the time you’re used to every week in getting it picked up."

While the strike continues, only garbage will be picked up, not green waste or recyclables.
