Trammell Crow Residential wants to build 278 condos, plus retail, at Alhambra and S Street in the city of Scaramento.  It’s another sign that the condo craze in the downtown core is beginning to spread to other parts of the city. This project would be up to four stories high, with a swimming pool, fitness center, and other amenities…with prices from $300,000 to perhaps $450,000. The developer hopes to snag some of the 12,000 medical workers at the expanding Sutter General Hospital and other medical facilities in that area. The project should go before the planning commission this fall.
