"Pops" conductor  American conductor Erich Kunzel of the Cincinnati Pops guest conducts the Modesto Symphony Orchestra this weekend. You'll meet him and hear clips from his work.

Harold Blickenstaff  During World War II, 36 conscientious objectors signed up for a year-long starvation experiment. Though they objected to the war, many still felt compelled to make make sacrifices for their country off of the battlefied. Their story is told in a documentary you'll hear Monday afternoon on KXJZ. Today on Insight, you'll meet one of those objectors. Harold Blickenstaff lives in Nevada City and tells you about his experience.

KXJZ airs a special documentary, "A Duty to Starve," about the 36 conscientious objectors who participated in a year-long starvation experiment, at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8th.

"Dirty Story"  Capital Stage’s "Dirty Story" is getting rave reviews. You’ll meet two of the lead actors and hear a scene.
