UC Merced attendence Students aren’t flocking to the University of California, Merced the way administrators had hoped. Last year, under 4 percent of Merced admittants actually chose to go there. Now the University of California is introducing a program, called Shared Experience, which they say increased enrollment at other UC campuses in the past.
